Marco Sgura was born in Bari (Italy) in 1969 and received his first music lessons at the age of 9. After learning to play some musical instruments, he soon decided to devote himself to the study of classical guitar. In the 90’s he recieved a Diploma in Guitar from Lecce’s Conservatory and a Degree in Musicology from the University of Bologna; he studied Composition and analysis and then he went into teaching music. Always interested in music recording, in addition to having recorded his own works, he has collaborated in various musical projects. As an interpreter, his repertoire includes works, transcriptions and arrangements for guitar. He is currently a professor of guitar at the Italian Middle School (Music Department).
